The key players on the Scott Hamilton team are a close-knit team of experts who work together to make sure every home they create fully realizes the dream of the patrons.
I was fortunate to learn this business from childhood by working for my father, Frank Hamilton, a highly respected homebuilder of Longview. Since forming my own company in 1990, I have been further blessed by success in work that I love and that enhances my home town. I hold the Graduate Master Builder designation from the National Association of Homebuilders, and my employees and associates are similarly qualified in their respective fields. To stay abreast of current methods, materials, and styles, we regularly attend professional seminars and trade shows. Our headquarters consists of offices, shops, and warehouses on the same tract as my own home at 1625 East Loop 281. We have built hundreds of dwellings in and near Longview, many of them in subdivisions that we developed ourselves—most recently Castle Ridge Estates, which is entered from Heritage Boulevard in the northwestern part of the city.
Renee’ Perkins Hamilton began the foundation to her construction career when she married Scott Hamilton in 1984. Renee’ was raised in Longview and graduated from Pine Tree High School and continued her education with an Associate Degree from Kilgore College and a BS in Education from UT Tyler. Scott and Renee’ broke ground and began construction of their family adding Marshal, Macy, Mindy & Mathis. The business was relocated to their home so Renee’ could continue to oversee the accounting/bookkeeping area of their business and be on site with their children.
The interior of their home was near completion when Marshal added a wife, Anna, and Macy’s addition, Kyle. Future additions are still pending. Marshal and Anna enriched our family with the addition of our precious grandson, Sutton, which we occasionally get on loan while Anna is continuing her NP degree. Marshal, Anna & Sutton have founded their home in Plano, TX and Macy and Kyle are now dwelling in Virginia where Macy just finalized her NP degree.
Mindy just purchased her first home and is a great asset. Mindy is a very talented and bright young lady and has blessed us with utilizing her construction talents and gifts at Hamilton Custom Homes. Mathis is currently working on framing his career in college. The additional sidelines Renee’ enjoys other than family and construction are aiding on the Perkins’ Partnership Ministry Board as secretary and supporting numerous ministries and singing around our Country with Classic Praise East Texas.
Mindy Hamilton is the Client Coordinator for Hamilton Custom Homes. She is the daughter of Scott and Renee’ Hamilton making her the 3rd generation of Hamilton to build homes in the greater Longview area. Upon completion of her college degree, Mindy joined the company to assist with client selections, blueprint drawings, home and interior design, and marketing. She is currently working towards her Masters in Business Administration from Texas A&M University of Texarkana.
Marshal Hamilton, Scott & Renee’s son, is another addition to the 3rd generation of Hamilton builders and key member of the Hamilton team. Marshal graduated from LeTourneau University in 2010 with his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. While working towards his degree, Marshal performed as a project manager for residential projects in the area. He now serves as Vice President of commercial sales for our newest division, Huffman Builders of East Texas, a full service medical and professional offices provider.

My motto: "You do not really know someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes". Shoes come in all types of style and sizes, so do clients. My aim is to understand the client's personality and incorporate this into the interior design so that it reflects the client not the designer. I am devoted to providing the client with a comfortable environment that reflects the finest style and taste. I am known for my attention to detail in all aspects, whether it is a one-room project, an entire house or an office. I firmly believe that whatever space I am designing, the rules remain the same...listen, understand, and then design. My job is to interpret my client's lifestyle within their personal living space. Let me try on your shoes. From concept to completion I can create an interior that suits your dreams and matches your expectations.
